NGA Fitness Certification
The NGA Certification Course qualifies one-on-one trainers, gym instructors, athletes, and gym owners/managers for certification as professional personal trainers. The course enables you to more confidently pursue positions of responsibility in the fitness industry, and to turn your fitness skills and experience into a fitness training enterprise.
The NGA course provides the student with a review and update of essential training concepts and procedures. The 600 page manual or cd includes over 390 illustrations and charts. It is concise, easily assimilated, and addresses core fitness concepts.

Certification Requirements
The applicant must complete the NGA Certification Course manual or cd within 45 days. After completing the study the applicant must complete the NGA Certification Examination, within 14 days, with a satisfactory score of 75% or above.
Simultaneous with, before, or after completion of the NGA Exam, the applicant must submit to the NGA home office photocopies of a certificate, and any accompanying letters of communications, representing the successful completion of a course in First Aid & CPR. Certificates in this course that are acceptable to the NGA can be obtained from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or equivalent organizations (such as hospitals) with offices in your state.
Course, Examination, Schedule, Fees
The manual or cd will be mailed the first day of the month after purchase, allowing the applicant one week to receive it. Applicant will then have 45 days to study the material. Applicant will receive the exam booklet by the 46th day.
The exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions and must be returned to the NGA office within 14 days. A $50.00 administration fee is required for retesting, should the applicant fail to pass the exam. All sales are non-refundable.
Upon successful completion of the above requirements, you will receive a handsome 8 1/2" x 11" certificate and a carry card. NGA Certified Trainers can advertise your personal training business with an NGA shirt.
